I've Moved!
Hey guys... I'm a little disgusted with blogspot so I've moved back to tdaoming.wordpress.com... See you there!

I beg to differ...
Hmmm.... Some random person has just remarked that my blog is dead... Oh well... I have to admit it is quite dead... But everything has its reasons... Well, basically, I have been quite busy recently (for the past month) preparing for RICO's concert, as well as gearing up for various other activities... You know... the usual excuses you give when people ask you to resurrect your blog...
Now to the point.
Well, as most of you should know, RICO just had our concert yesterday, on the 14th of December. This time round, RICO did something that we had never done before - We booked the concert hall for both the matinee and evening slots, meaning that we had to sell well over 1000 tickets, as well as cover an overhead cost of almost massive proportions. We also faced an immense logistical nightmare for matters such as stage arrangement and transportation.
However, with our combined effort, as well as the grace of God, we managed to make this concert a successful one. On this note, I would like to say a big "Thank You" to all members of RICO, the audience, and all those who have helped in one way or another, for presenting this concert as a tribute to our late conductor, Mr. Yeo Puay Hian.
Lastly, I think that it's rather timely to declare that since I'm getting more free time now, I'll start posting regularly like how I used to in the past...

Whatever... Why do I have to title every post???
Hi there... I've just realised that I have not posted for a very long time... How do people get the time to blog everyday? They must have nothing better to do than rant their lives away on on a lifeless computer screen... Or maybe I've wasted too much of my life away torturing myself over irritating little details.
Sigh...
Ah yes... I should be getting to the point... OIP (India) is in 2 weeks time! Isn't it so cool to go somewhere that you've never been to before? In my rather travel-deprived childhood, the furthest I've been to before this year is Shanghai. Never would I ever dream that I would be able to visit 3 new places (Tokyo, Hong Kong and Delhi) within a period of 3 months.
The only negative effect of this suuden travel mania is that I'm rather broke now (with only $50), because my parents make me pay for part of each trip. (Not to mention the fact that I spend quite a lot of $$ buying stuff... SHHHHH... Don't let my mum hear this or she'll scream).
Oh well, I need to get back to work... Bye...

Hmm...Well...Whatever
Well... I can't really say much about this blog now that I haven't said much on it for the last two months...
Let's just say that I've been quite tired and busy recently, especially during the holidays... Personally, I would expect the word holiday to connote a time of R&R (Rest and Recreation). However, being here, we all know this is rather impossible...
If you were lucky, you would probably have had an R&R compromising of Reflection and Refinement (a very nicely phrased way to say "thinking about how you failed Math, and trying hard to mug for EOYs so that you wouldn't fail math again").
If you were not lucky the consequences are really 不堪设想 (Unimaginable... For the benefit of those who don't understand Mandarin... See, I know how to use Chinese 4-lettered words for Aural...) Actually, I find it rather ironic that I had to spend more time in school during the holidays than now, during DMP...
Funny, isn't it? The way timeteables are messed up such that you come for the first period then go home... Arrggghh whatever... I'm going to watch TV...

National Day, not Holiday
Marks... Bio Prac 23/25, Math CCT 17/30 (Sobs...), HCL CCT good (4.0 score), EL blog 18/20, Chem OBA 10/20 (Eeeeeeek)!!!
Now that I've got all this stuff back, I've realised how careless I am. I could have got 20-plus marks for Math if I had not messed up my alpha-beta question by forgetting to divide one side of the equation.
As for Chem, I doubt anybody has ever written 0.0181 x 10^23 = 0.0181^23... I think Avagadro must be turning in his grave now...
Next week is going to be rather shitty... Have Bio CCT, Lit Unseen Prose/Poetry, Chem CCT... Then, to make sure that we have a bayonet stabbed into us after we fall flat on the ground, we have our fantabulous SS Assignment...
Die... People say that what's important about National Day is the celebration, and not the holiday. Perhaps the school is taking this sentiment too seriously...

A New Beginning
With every ending comes a new beginning... I feel so tired after ironing out all those little glitches in my blog (such as badly aligned stuff or wrong parameters)... Well, at least blogger allows me to have some freedom in what I do to my blog...
As to why I re-posted some of my old posts and set my counter to 2000 plus, I simply wanted to look as if I had started where I left off, instead of taking on a completely different image... After all, the 3 posts which I recycled were my most popular, my favourite, and my first post (in order of appearence)...
Now for the actual blogging... The past week has probably been one of my worst ever... I fell sick and forgot to hand in my MC... To top things all off, I failed my maths TA with like 3/11 because I blanked out...
At least I've got to rest this weekend due to the surprising lack of homework (hence time to move my blog)... Maybe the teachers finally took pity on us... Sigh... I feel damn depressed now due to various (numerous) reasons... and it doesn't really help when my sister takes up her 琵琶 and starts playing it after 2 years of stagnation... Even "送我一枝玫瑰花" sounds bad...
To end this post, I'll introduce someone/something new. Actually, I've had him on my previous blog as well... It's just that the flash code was corrupted by Wordpress... You can also find him by scrolling all the way down on my sidebar. Cute right? I named him after my hamster... Try feeding him by clicking on the "more" button...

Every Aunt's Seven Commandments
I'm feeling random and free, so I decided to post something that applies to every one of us when we meet our grandaunts/aunts/numerous relatives during festive occasions, and have to endure their "beautiful" renditions of love and care. Here are the "Seven Commandments" as applicable to our aunties (Especially those who are rich 50-year-old retirees):
1) Thou shalt eat half a cheese-cake and say "Samuel, you look so thin. Can you finish the rest for me? I'm not hungry."
2) Thou shalt use year of the rooster/chicken (I can't remember which is it) angpows in the year of the pig.
3) Thou shalt see your nephews/nieces and go "Hi.... You are this ah..ah..ah........ ah siang eh gia (person X's kid in Hokkien)...You are ah.....ah........" and 15 "ah"s later, you get fed up and fill in the blank and say I'm Y, and I'm the son of person X.
4) Thou shalt ask your fellow Aunties how to cook curry, after which you tell them "You (the other Auntie) should not cook curry that way".
5) After this , both Aunties quarrel.... (Please tell me what's the point of asking someone how to do something if you're going to contradict her anyway.)
6) Thou shalt slam down the phone without saying goodbye.
7) Thou shalt call your nephew and demand "Where's your grandmother?", after which you scold your bemused nephew for not knowing where his grandmother is. (Like Hello.... I'm not my grandma's guardian or something....)
